I received a copy of the regs for back to back Selkirk enduros today. They should be on Scottish Enduros site soon.

Whose doing them?

For those on the forum, what are your opinions of the course?

I did all three enduros on this course last year and as far as I'm concerned there just aren't enough superlatives to do this course justice. 25 mile laps and the biggest climbs and descents (by a long way) of any enduro on the Scottish circuit. On top of this there are bogs and technical sections and probably the longest flat out sections of any enduro where the 525's can even run out of revs!
If it's anything like last year the temperatures will be high and heat exhaustion and dehydration will be major factors.

Still over 5 weeks to go....the gap since Pathhead is way to long.

Hopefully we've had our bad luck with cancellations and postponements for this year, as a fortnight after Selkirk is the GMCC Monaughty enduro which gets us back into the trees and stumps again 8) Regs are now up for Monaughty on http://www.scottishenduros.co.uk/99/

I'm hoping to ride both days at Selkirk. For three years in a row I have missed the Sunday for one reason or another. I quite like the Selkirk course and liked the fact that the test was different last year, albeit I only rode it once!!

The course is quite a fast one, nice and open. the last half if you are going anti-clockwise is my favourite part.

It's going to be enduro-tastic after Selkirk.

Well it looks like I have missed the clockwise version of Selkirk again this year - unless they have a 2 day event in September.

Maybe next year.
