Went into Griffin Forest to start preparing for Septembers event.
The bog on the special stage - despite not being touched for a year - only two out of six managed to get through! Reckon it'll be cut out.
Apart from that - its looking superb. |

I was wondering about the test. It was seriously hard work last year especially on the last lap. Come to think of it there were some epic bogs on the going to and unlike venues like Selkirk & Pathhead there wasn't a choice of routes. Griffin forest after heavy rain is a real slog in places but absolutely no stumps 8). I'm really looking forward to it.
Hoping for weeks of sunshine before it.
 |

| I remember the exact bog you are on about. I got stuck in it for 15 minutes on one of the tests. Thought I was going to have to phone Hewden Plant Hire for a digger to get me out at one point :) |

Thats me on the left from last year on the last lap, got through it by pushing the bike through and running beside it, I think the lad on the right is still there waiting to be rescued

Thats the very bog.
Reckon some brashing might be in order to clear a new path through the trees.
And this bog was part of the special stage! |

I still have flash backs, it's always the same thing....I keep seeing the bog swallowing Charlie
In case anyone missed it, here's the next bog just around the corner from the previous. Just as you thought the worst was over things took another turn for the worse
