Metzeler Melville Hare and Hound at West Linton 29th June

The Melville Motor Club has secured a new venue for a Hare and Hound near West Linton on the 29th June. This event will be the fourth round of the extremely popular Metzeler Melville Motor Club Cross Country Championship that takes in all Melville Enduros and Hare and Hound events. There will be classes for Expert, Clubman, Clubman B, Over 40 and Sportsman.

This new venue has an old sand quarry, a wood and some open moorland that will give a good mixture of terrain. The course will be a track of approximately 5 miles and a duration of 3 hours.

Entries will be available shortly to download from www.melvillemc.co.uk or www.scottishenduros.co.uk and www.enduronews.com the event secretary will be Ian Gilhooley, 10 Ness Place, Tranent, East Lothian EH33 2QP. Ian can be contacted by e-mail iansoreback@tiscali.co.uk Closing date for entries will be Wednesday the 25th June.

Best Regards
Campbell

Unless I'm mistaken - looking at the regs its a closed event for Melville club members only.
To enter - you need to join their club.
Works out at £55 for the event.

No mate it's run under a national permit so you don't have to join the club although you will need a day license if you don't a current race license Wink

It says on the regs that the event is closed to club. Think I would ride it if it is open to anyone. Who is the best person to ask?

You don't need to be a member of the club it's a closed to club event for points towards the championship but you can enter just for fun. Gasser100 will be the one to ask if you're still in doubt

Sorry for the misunderstanding. If you want points in the cross country championship you need to join melville mc.As long as you are a member of a club and have a License (and bring both with you on the day) thats fine. Any queries you can contact me iansoreback@tiscali.co.uk or 07948389817. Ian (secretary)
